Once upon a time.. There was a old Tortoise he lived on a farm with all these other animals. There was a Hare, and a Fox. The Hare was Jumping and running and then he saw the old Tortoise. When the Hare took one look at the Tortoise He thought it was a rock.
He went straight to the old tortoise And said “is that all you do all day just eat the grass so slowly what a lazy animal you are” said the Hare. The Tortoise didn't reply back out of nowhere a fox popped out of the Hedgerow and he said I bet you can't beat him in a race. beat him in a race I can could even give him a head start and i will still beat him. The fox said how about we race to the top of the mountain and back.
The Fox Said on your marks get set Go! Then the Hare gave the Tortoise a head start but he was moving so slowly he just went straight past him. He ran past Some trees and then he ran past a lake. When he took a look back he couldn't see the Tortoise anywhere so he took a little nap. He was dreaming that the tortoise lost and he won when he woke up he was cold because the sun was going down.
He was worried that if the Tortoise had already won. He ran up the Mountain and back down he saw the Tortoise near the finish line and he tried to run as fast as he could but it was too late he already won. Hooray said the fox you won.
